The IMPACT: Visual Status Monitor operates like a powerful dispatching dashboard, providing a myriad of information related to the real-time activities of the department and community. Anyone having security clearance and a computer, no matter where they are, can now see what activities are taking place in the department’s jurisdiction from the "dispatcher’s eyes" as if you were looking over their shoulder.
Active Calls, Pending Calls, Available Units, Active Units and a Map are all part of this powerful tool. Any time a call is selected the map automatically re-positions itself, centering the selected call. By using the "hover" feature, the call number and unit assigned will automatically appear. With a "click" of the mouse on the call the details of the call is displayed.
This feature is offered as an add-on to the full VCAD system and is an essential management tool for supervisors with the need to know.
